« La Cité du vin », on the river bank

This venue has been the talk of the town for years! It opened on 1st June, 2016 and has already become one of the city’s emblematic monuments.

“La Cité du vin” takes a look at all civilizations with an interest in wine, exploring its universal, cultural and symbolic dimensions. It is part theme park and part museum, and offers a unique and immersive experience.

The permanent exhibition features 20 highly edutaining themes, often with interactive elements. There are also wine-tasting workshops, temporary exhibitions, an auditorium and, the icing on the cake:a belvedere where you can taste a complimentary glass of wine and enjoy the panoramic restaurant with a unique view of “the port of the moon”!
